Your people are carrying more than you know.
One in four employees is grieving right now, not just
from bereavement, but from redundancy, divorce,
illness, identity loss, and the endings that
never get named. 91% report a significant drop in
productivity. Only 11% of managers recognise it
for what it is.
This is invisible loss. And it is one of the most significant, and least addressed,
forces inside your organisation.

The cost of getting this wrong
UK businesses lose over £20 billion a year to grief-related presenteeism and absenteeism. Unaddressed organisational grief - following restructuring, redundancy, or significant change -
leads to productivity declines of up to 20% and turnover rates 31% higher in the year that follows.
The problem is not that your people are struggling. The problem is that nobody has given that struggle a name — or built the culture, leadership capability, and psychological safety to respond to it.
That is where I come in.
What I do
I am Dr Chloe Paidoussis-Mitchell - Chartered Counselling Psychologist, author of "The Loss Prescription "(HarperCollins, 2024), and keynote speaker specialising in invisible loss and psychological wellbeing in organisations.
I bring over two decades of clinical and psychological expertise into organisational settings - helping leaders, HR teams, and boards understand what their people are actually carrying, and build the conditions for genuine, sustainable performance.
My approach integrates clinical psychology, existential practice, trauma-informed understanding, and the neuroscience of emotional healing. This is not wellbeing as performance optimisation. It is leadership rooted in presence, responsibility, and care.
I work selectively with organisations committed to thoughtful, psychologically informed change.
